Getting Started with Minecraft

Welcome to AngelicCraft! This guide will walk you through downloading Minecraft and connecting to our server so you can jump straight into the action.

Step 1: Purchase & Download Minecraft

Head over to minecraft.net and click Get Minecraft.
If you don't already have a Microsoft account, you'll need to create one — this is required to play.
Purchase Minecraft: Java Edition (this is the version our server runs on).
Download the Minecraft Launcher for your platform (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
Install and open the launcher, then sign in with your Microsoft account.
Click Play to launch the game. It will download the latest version automatically.

Step 2: Connecting to AngelicCraft

Once Minecraft has loaded, follow these steps to join our server:

From the main menu, click Multiplayer.
Click Add Server at the bottom of the screen.
In the Server Name field, type AngelicCraft (or anything you like — this is just a label for your server list).
In the Server Address field, type: angeliccraft.net
Click Done.
You'll now see AngelicCraft in your server list. Select it and click Join Server.

Troubleshooting Connection Issues

If you're having trouble connecting, try the following:

Check your Minecraft version — Make sure you're running the correct version. You can change your version in the Minecraft Launcher by selecting the right profile before hitting Play.
Check your internet connection — Ensure you have a stable connection and that no firewall or antivirus is blocking Minecraft.
Restart Minecraft — Sometimes simply closing and reopening the game fixes connection issues.
Double-check the IP — Make sure you've typed angeliccraft.net exactly, with no extra spaces or typos.
